Well, as you can see - Colden is a very happy baby now! He came through his Hirschsprung's surgery with flying colors and even his hydroceles were repaired - so no second surgery. Yaay. As of his most recent check up, he's 9 pounds! Wow! He had lost quite a bit of weight in the hospital but bounced back pretty quickly. Now that his intestinal track is back in working order, he's been downing 3 to 4 ounces per meal (every 3 to 4 hours). So he'll be back on that growth chart in no time. Now we're just back to struggling with the regular 3-4 month old baby issues - sleep schedule and fussiness. He's been falling asleep early in the evening -up a couple times to eat & then up for the morning by about 5am - yikes. So we're trying to keep him up a little later (no more falling asleep at 6pm) so hopefully, his evening will fall more in line with what we'd like our evening to be. We'll see:) Now that his incision has healed we can go back to giving him tummy time again to help him build up his muscles - he'll be walking in no time:)
